INTRODUCTION

I was a pre-teen, teen and young adult during the 1980’s so I grew up in video stores. I still love physical media and buy a lot of it, but 95% of it is things made before the 2000’s.

I love movies of all kind, well almost all kind. Sci-Fi in space isn’t my bag and Romantic Comedies can totally f**k off. As I said the 80’s is what’s closest to my heart, and right there after it’s the 70’s and 90’s. I like todays movies as well, but don’t feel the same passion about them.

When it comes to TV shows it’s almost the other way around. The shows that have been made the last 20 years are usually superior to the ones from the 80’s. A big thing is that they usually keep a storyline through an entire season instead of just one episode that was often the case in the decades before. I absolutely hate detective/police shows where they are solving a case in each episode. There’s zero depth and always laughable (not in a good way) things that makes them solve them.
